LunGradCon: Logistics

The Virtual LunGradCon

LunGradCon 2020 will be held virtually via Zoom. Please download the Zoom app, as it has increased functionality compared to the browser version which we will be using. Each talk will be 15 minutes, including questions.

Connection Information

The meeting will be held via Zoom at 8 am Pacific (Los Angeles); 9 am Mountain (Denver); 11 pm Eastern (New York); 15:00 UTC on Wednesday, July 1st and July 2nd. The meeting can be accessed with https://sservi.zoom.us/j/92192271013, or by using the meeting ID 921 9227 1013 in the Zoom app. However, it will require a password. To receive the password, you must register on our website. If you need immediate assistance, email the forum organizers.

When connecting, please use your full name and your preferred pronouns.

Turn Off Video and Mute Yourself When Not Speaking

Please turn off your video and mute yourself when you are not speaking. This will help keep the focus on the speakers, but more importantly it will also reduce the bandwidth required for the zoom app.

Asking Questions

To ask a question, use the Zoom "Raise Hand" function. To do so, click "Participants" at the bottom of the zoom app. A new toolbar will open, and at the bottom a "Raise Hand" option will become available. The chairs will then call on you to ask your question when appropriate. You should then turn your video back on and unmute yourself.

You can also ask questions via the chat window for the chairs to read. To call attention to the question, we ask that you begin the question with [Q].

LunGradCon does not have a NCTS number.
